What Is the Leagues Cup?
The Leagues Cup is an annual interleague tournament that pits clubs from Major League Soccer (MLS) in the U.S. and Canada against sides from Mexico’s Liga MX. The 2025 edition, running from July 29 through August 31, showcases 36 teams—18 from each league—competing for regional supremacy and qualification to the 2026 CONCACAF Champions Cup.
