NJ NY Gotham v. NC Courage Sat. April 22, 2023 at Red Bulls Arena

The North Carolina Courage Soccer (NC Courage) team will take on the NJ NY Gotham FC Soccer (NJ NY Gotham FC) team on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison NJ. NC Courage is ranked 10^th in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

NJ NY Gotham FC Soccer team is ranked 5^th in the NWSL.  This should be an exciting matchup, as both teams are looking to improve their rankings in the league table. NC Courage is coming off of a 1-1 Tie against the Orlando Pride.  NJ NY Gotham FC won 1 to 0  against Washington Spirit in its last game. 

NJ NY Gotham FC won 2 to 0 when it played the Orlando Pride. The NC Courage Soccer team is from Cary, North Carolina. The NC Courage was founded in January 2017 after owner Steve Malik acquired the Western New York Flash team following their 2016 NWSL Championship Season and moved the team to North Carolina. The team plays home games at Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC. The stadium is a soccer-specific venue with 10,000 seats.

The NC Courage is owned by the North Carolina Football Club which is the largest youth-to-pro club in the nation and is also the parent organization of North Carolina FC (MLS) and the North Carolina FC Youth.  As previously stated the team is owned by Steve Malik and the organization is managed by Curt Johnson. The North Carolina Football Club's goal is to bring the highest levels of men’s and women’s professional soccer to the state.

Tickets for the game are available through Ticketmaster. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. but arrive earlier for pre-game activities at the Red Bulls Arena.
