As the Tuesday, November 7, 2023 General Election approaches, Hudson County voters have the opportunity to participate in early voting, ensuring their voices are heard. Here's what you need to know about early voting dates, times, locations, and the new voting machines.

Early Voting Dates and Times

Early voting for the upcoming General Election will be available from Saturday, October 28th through Sunday, November 5th. A Total of Nine  days.  The polls will be open from 10 AM to 8 PM from Monday to Saturday, and on Sunday, the hours will be from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Early Voting Locations

Voters in Hudson County can cast their ballots early at several convenient locations. The closest Early Voting Poll locations for many will be in Kearny and Jersey City. Here are some of the specific locations where you can vote early:

  • Kearny: Kearny Town Hall, 1st Floor Records Room, 402 Kearny Avenue, Kearny, NJ 07032
  • Jersey City:
    • Jersey City Hall, Ground Floor Caucus Room, 280 Grove Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302
    • Pershing Field Community Center, 816 Summit Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07307
    • Hank Gallo Community Center, 175 Lincoln Park, Jersey City, NJ 07304
    • Moose Lodge, 60 West Side Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07305 
  • Bayonne: Bayonne City Hall, Council Chambers, 630 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002
  • Guttenberg: Galaxy Tower Hall, 7000 Boulevard East, Guttenberg, NJ 07093
  • Hoboken: Hoboken City Hall, 1st Floor Conference Room, Newark Street Entrance, 94 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030
  • Additionally, Union City and West New York will have mobile trailer locations available for early voting.

Election Day Information

Election Day is set for Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Polls will be open from 6 AM to 8 PM. To find your specific polling location, you can visit LocatePoll.com.

New Voting Machines

This election will feature new voting machines equipped with touchscreens for a more intuitive voting experience.
