(Update) Ho-Ho-Holiday Saturday Cheer: Santa's Grand Tour 2023 Thru Harrison

The spirit of Christmas is descending upon Harrison, NJ, in the most magical way this Sunday, December 17, 2023. Saturday, December 23 2023 Get ready to deck the halls and jingle all the way, as none other than Santa Claus himself will be gracing our town with his jolly presence. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the air will be filled with festive cheer, holiday music, and the joyous laughter of children and adults alike.

Santa's visit is not just a fly-by; it's a grand parade! Thanks to the wonderful collaboration of the Harrison Fire Department and the Harrison Police Department, Santa will be touring the town in style. He'll be starting his festive journey at Harrison High School on Kingsland Avenue, weaving through the streets, and then returning to the high school, all while being escorted by our brave firefighters and police officers.

But here's the catch – Santa's sleigh doesn't have the luxury to stop for long, except when the traffic calls for it. So, keep your ears perked for the sound of holiday tunes – that's your cue that Santa is near!  You might hear some Fire Engine sirens as well as Santa approaches.

For those with a knack for navigation, Your Harrison is sponsoring a delightful challenge. A map of Santa's route through Harrison is included in this article. Can you predict Santa's turns and twists? If you can, a special prize awaits you! It's a fun way to get into Santa's shoes and understand how he masterfully plans his Christmas Eve journey across the globe. If you are up for the challenge, review the map below and write out starting with Kingsland Avenue by the Harrison High School and write out what streets Santa plans to turn on and indicate each turn (right or left) and the Street Name. If you get the turns all correct, you will be entered into a drawing for a surprise gift.
