Gotham FC Hosts Angel City On Johnnie Walker New Fan Night @SI Stadium

The NJ/NY Gotham FC women’s soccer team will return to Red Bull Arena in Harrison on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., for a high-profile matchup against Angel City FC of Los Angeles. The game, part of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season, will also mark Gotham’s annual New Fan Night, celebrating both first-time and longtime supporters.

Pre-Game Festivities at Sports Illustrated Stadium

Fans are invited to arrive early for Fan Fest, which kicks off at 2:30 p.m. outside Sports Illustrated Stadium. The family-friendly event will feature games, slides, food, face painting, and other entertainment.

Youth soccer teams attending with 10 or more group tickets will have a chance to participate in a pregame parade on the pitch, while players from Gotham FC Alliance youth teams will receive a branded drawstring bag. In addition, local college soccer teams bringing their squads will receive special discounted group rates, and team captains will be recognized during pregame or halftime ceremonies.

Adding to the excitement, one lucky supporter recently won a sweepstakes sponsored by Johnnie Walker, earning a private suite at Sports Illustrated Stadium for themselves and 16 guests to enjoy Sunday’s match in style.

While traffic for Gotham FC games is typically less intense than for New York Red Bulls matches, attendees are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early, particularly if joining the pregame festivities. Harrison Residents are feeling the strain on their weekend activities as they have to navigate two weekend games with the USA National Men’s Team having a game against Korea Republic on Saturday.
