Seahawks vs. Patriots in Super Bowl LX
Super Bowl LX — the National Football League’s championship game — will be played on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. This year’s matchup features the Seattle Seahawks facing the New England Patriots in what promises to be a thrilling contest between two storied franchises.
The game traces its roots back to January 15, 1967, when the first AFL-NFL World Championship Game — later called the Super Bowl — was played between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers. Since then, the Super Bowl has become a defining moment in American culture, routinely drawing more than 100 million television viewers and becoming one of the most-watched sporting events worldwide.
Halftime Show and Pregame Entertainment
One of the most-anticipated elements of every Super Bowl is the Halftime Show, and this year the spotlight belongs to global music superstar Bad Bunny, who will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show. The Grammy-winning Puerto Rican artist is known worldwide for his genre-blending sound, Latin rhythm, and high-energy performance style — and this marks his first time headlining the iconic halftime stage. However, there is some controversy surrounding the selection of Bad Bunny. In addition to his Super Bowl performance, Bad Bunny has been racking up major awards in recent years. At the 2026 68th Annual Grammy Awards, the Puerto Rican superstar made history by winning Album of the Year for Debí Tirar Más Fotos, marking the first time an all-Spanish-language album has ever received that honor. He also took home accolades for Best Música Urbana Album and Best Global Music Performance, underscoring his impact on both the Latin and global music scenes. These wins add to his growing list of career honors, which include multiple Latin Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and recognition from the American Music Awards.
In addition to Bad Bunny, the Super Bowl pregame festivities include performances by acclaimed artists such as Charlie Puth, who will sing the national anthem, Brandi Carlile, who will perform “America the Beautiful,” and Coco Jones, who will deliver “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
The halftime show often draws its own legion of viewers — many tuning in specifically for the performance — and social media buzz around the act frequently rivals the game itself.
Commercials with a Life of Their Own

Super Bowl commercials have become a cultural event in their own right, with companies spending millions of dollars for coveted airtime during the broadcast. What began as straightforward product ads decades ago has evolved into highly anticipated, star-studded mini-films designed to entertain, surprise, and generate social media conversation. The price for a 30-second Super Bowl commercial has risen dramatically over the years, making it one of the most expensive advertising slots on television.
A Community Tradition
By hosting its Super Bowl watch party, the CRC-PACC continues its mission of bringing the Harrison community together through shared experiences, cultural connections, and social gatherings. Whether guests are rooting for their favorite team, sampling homemade dishes, receiving accolades for their dishes, or enjoying the spectacle of the game and entertainment, organizers say the center is the perfect place to spend Super Bowl Sunday.
“Whether you’re in it for the football, the food, or the fun — this is the place to be,” the CRC-PACC shared in its invitation to the gathering.
