Red Bulls Star Wars Game Saturday May 7th

The May 7th (2022), Red Bulls game will be a special game because the first 7,500 fans in the stadium will receive a John Tolkin Mandalorian Star Wars Bobblehead courtesy of the Provident Bank.  John Tolkin is a Red Bulls player who was born and grew up playing soccer in New Jersey. He has been in the New York Red Bulls organization since 2015.  He moved to the  Red Bulls MLS roster in January of 2020 and played his first game with the Red Bulls on May 29, 2021.

The Red Bulls will be facing the Portland Timbers starting at 7 p.m. 

Ticket holders are expected to come early on Saturday for prematch activities including Star Wars characters roaming to take photos with fans; a Live DJ, Freestyler performances, and a Star Wars trivia game.

Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Star Wars character.  There are limitations.  Helmets, masks, or facial coverings must be removed during the security screening process, on the concourse, and at all concession/retail locations.  Light sabers are allowed but subject to removal if used improperly. Bags entering the stadium must be clear and no larger than 14” x 14” x 6 “ No metal or hard plastic costume accessories and props are allowed.  This includes blaster and/or toy guns.
