The Town of Harrison does not currently host an Independence Day Celebration or Fireworks Celebration; however, surrounding communities do. In 2023, as many Harrison residents will recall, the Town of Harrison had a 4th of July CONCACAF Gold Cup Soccer Doubleheader at the Red Bulls Arena, now the Sports Illustrated Stadium, with four International Teams. There is no soccer game at Red Bull Arena on July 4th. The Red Bulls Arena’s management promised, after public outcry in 2023, not to hold an international game on July 4th ever again.
