Path Train Service Outage Map Harrison

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has scheduled flood mitigation work at the Harrison Station on Sunday, July 24, 2022, between 6 a.m. and 12 Noon.  There will be no service between Harrison and Journal Square stations.

The last morning train from Newark to World Trade Center with a stop in Harrison is the 5:45 a.m. train making all stops   So if you are commuting to Journal Square on Sunday, July 24th, you need to plan accordingly.  After the train service resumes at noon the first train out of Newark on its way to the World Trade Center making all stops is the 12-noon train.  The World Trade Center train to Newark train leaves 15 minutes later at 12:15 pm making all stops.

(Demolished But Not Forgotten)

The Port Authority did not elaborate on what flood mitigation work is being done. The Path Station floods whenever there is a significant rain fall.  It was a known issue but neither the Harrison Redevelopment Agency nor the Port Authority addressed the known flooding in its redevelopment plans
